Factors influencing IR35 status

Many factors influence a contractor's IR35 status but some of the key determinants are:

  • Determined by the actual business practices you follow
  • Within the structure and commercial operation of your limited company

Paying the right amount of tax depends upon claiming all your expenses and understanding whether your IR35 status could make you a "disguised employee" and a contractor not in business on their own account.
